Gude Alpha Wine-Barrel Series Chef's Paring Knife

Limited Edition and a Bon Appétit! Exclusive!
The Chef's Paring knife is ideal for all of your fine cutting needs.  10cm (4") blade length.
Gude has created this series for wine lovers, cooking enthusiasts, and collectors, in collaboration with celebrity chef Harald Rüssel, whose restaurant and hotel Landhaus St. Urban is located in a side valley of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer wine-growing region of Germany.
The beautiful Oak handles are made of reclaimed wood from 80 year old wine barrels.  Although new, these knives are part of the winemaking process dating back thousands of years, and will be a valued addition to your knife collection.
The Alpha Wine-Barrel Series knives begin as a single piece of specially alloyed Chrome-Vanadium-Moly cutlery steel. Each knife is hand forged and continues through more than 40 separate steps in the production process before completion.  They are ice hardened stainless steel and hand sharpened.  The handles are not dishwasher safe!  Handle colors may vary slightly depending on exposure to wine, cellar conditions, etc.
