Returns, Refunds, Cancellations, Warranty Claims

PLEASE NOTE: Sale items listed on the sale page are not returnable for any reason.


The following terms may be used in this document and are defined as noted here.  "Bon Appétit!", "we", "us", "our", "vendor", shall refer to Bon Appétit! LLC.  "You", "your", "customer", "purchaser", shall refer to the person, people, or entity which bought and paid for merchandise from Bon Appétit! LLC.

Merchandise purchased from Bon Appétit! can be returned or exchanged if they are in new and unused condition and in the original packaging within 30 days of receipt. Only items in new and unused condition and in the original, manufacturer package will be accepted for exchange or refund. Items that Bon Appétit! considers to be used will not be accepted for returns, even if they have been used only once and then washed. Sale page items are not returnable, as are items marked in the product description as non-refundable and/or non-returnable.  Any food items including coffee and herbs and spices are not returnable or refundable.

If your order qualified for free shipping and you want to return an item or items, you will be credited back the cost of the item(s) minus the actual cost Bon Appétit! paid to ship the item(s) to you.  
If your item came with a free Gift Card, it will be automatically cancelled. Or, if it is used prior to the return, you will be charged for the full amount of the gift card. If you receive an actual free gift, the gift must also be returned in new, unused condition to receive the full refund.  If the free gift is not returned in new, unused condition, and in original packaging, the retail value of the gift will also be deducted from your refund, or charged to your card.
Please send the item(s) you want to return by a shipping method of your choosing that is insured and traceable to the address we provide after you contact us. Please pack returns, when possible, in their original Bon Appétit! outer carton or other sturdy outer carton to ensure returned product arrives in good condition.  You are responsible for paying for return shipment costs.  Bon Appétit! will not under any circumstances accept any C.O.D. shipment.  Customer assumes risk of loss or damage of returns.  If any item you return is lost or damaged in the return shipping process, it is your responsibility to file a claim for damages and seek any reimbursement from the carrier you chose.
Before returning any item, you must first contact us by email using the "Contact Us" link on the bottom of any of our webpages (we do not accept phone calls for returns).  Please state your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return, plus your contact information including telephone number.  We will then issue you a Return Authorization Number plus shipping instructions by reply email.  This number must be clearly noted on the outside of your shipping container as follows:

Items that are not in new and unused condition and in the original manufacturer package will NOT be accepted for refund or exchange.  If an item(s) is not accepted for return, you will be charged for additional shipping charges to return the item(s) to you.  This will include actual cost of shipping plus insurance plus packing materials.

NOTE: Please allow 5 to 10 business days for processing of returns.
Returns will be charged the actual out-bound shipping charges and a 20% of product price restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund.
For returns due to refused shipments or un-deliverable for any reason not our fault, we will make an attempt to contact you in order to re-ship your order.  If we re-ship on your authority, you will be billed the in-bound cost to return your shipment, plus the extra cost for re-shipping by FedEx or UPS. If we are not able to re-ship your order, you will be charged for out-bound and in-bound shipping charges and a 20% of product price restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund.


Order cancellation:


Bon Appétit! may ship your order from several different warehouses located across the United States.  If you need to cancel an item on your order or the entire order, please call us immediately.  We do not accept cancellations via email.  We will make every attempt to alert the warehouse shipping your order to cancel it.  Once your order ships, ownership of the merchandise transfers to you and your order is non-cancellable.
 PAYMENT PROCESSING COMPANIES, ie: CREDIT CARD COMPANIES, ETC., ARE NO LONGER REFUNDING THEIR PAYMENT PROCESSING FEES ON CANCELLED ORDERS.  THEREFOR, IF AN ORDER IS CANCELLED, EVEN PRIOR TO SHIPPING, WE WILL REFUND THE AMOUNT PAID MINUS 3%.

If you receive damaged or defective merchandise:

In the unlikely event that any item has defects or damage when you first receive it, let us know via email by using the "Contact Us" link on the bottom of any of our webpages, stating your order number, the damaged item, and why you think it is damaged or defective.  We will send you a pre-paid return label to return the item for replacement at our expense if you contact us within five (5) days of receiving your order. All defective and damaged items not claimed within five days will not be exchanged. Item(s) must be in new and unused condition in original packaging to qualify for an exchange.  If your product was damaged during shipping, you must save all packaging materials and paperwork. We reserve the right to investigate any claims of orders that are damaged during shipping or are defective.  No refund will be given for damaged or defective merchandise.  If the product is still available from stock, it will be replaced, otherwise it will be replaced with a similar product of equal or greater value.  Items on our Sale page are not returnable or refundable for any reason and are sold "as is".



Warranty claims: 

We honor all of our manufacturer's warranties and will assist you in contacting the manufacturer should you have a claim within the warranty period.  We abide by the manufacturers warranty policies, and if permitted, your warranty claimed item will be replaced or if no longer available, will be replaced with a similar item of equal or greater value if permitted by the manufacturer.  Costs for shipping warranty claimed items are your responsibility and are not refundable.  Bon Appétit! provides no warranty that the items we sell are suited to any particular purpose, and the user assumes all risk of use of the product(s).  Bon Appétit! assumes NO liability in the use of, or failure in any way, of the products we sell or any injuries or damages that may result from the use of such products.  Our responsibility is limited to helping you in contacting the manufacturer in the event you may need to file a warranty claim.  Do not ship any item for which you seek a warranty claim to Bon Appétit!  Please contact us via email by using the "Contact Us" link on the bottom of any of our webpages (we do not accept phone calls for warranty issues).  State your order number if known, product you are seeking a warranty claim for, the manufacturer, your date of purchase. 

We do our best to be as accurate as possible. However, Bon Appétit! does not warrant that product descriptions, prices or other content of this site are error-free, complete or current. Bon Appétit! is not responsible for typographical errors. If a product offered is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition, following the guidelines detailed above. If a product has an incorrect price, we will correct the price you were charged to insure that you are charged the proper price.
