Saladini 10" Chef's Knife


The chef’s knife knife is the most common kitchen knife and it is used both for meat and vegetables. It can be of different sizes but the features are the same: the blade is rigid and sharp, to deliver controlled and accurate cuts....every time. This is the classic kitchen knife.

Since 1841, the Saladini family has been working as Master Knifemakers in the town of Scarperia, a small Tuscan town known for it's cultery for over 400 years.  Saladini kitchen knives and flatware are forged from solid stainless steel barstock.  The blade is then thinned, tempered, and mounted to the handle. Lastly, they are sharpened by hand. The handles can be in 3 natural hand-polished materials: the traditional ox horn, buffalo horn, and olive wood.
